The U of R College Republicans

Here at the University of Richmond College Republicans our mission is simple; to promote conservative principles, foster meaningful dialogue, and encourage civic engagement within our campus community. We strive to create an inclusive space for students to explore and advocate for the values of individual liberty, limited government, free enterprise, and personal responsibility while supporting the Republican Party’s mission and leadership at the local, state, and national levels.

Weekly Friday Meetings Begin 2/21/24

We meet once a week for weekly debreifs and other assorted discussions on current events.

Meeting times and places will be announced a week prior in the groupme.

Meetings will usually be every Friday from 5-6 pm in one of the third-floor conference rooms in THC - See below for the next meeting time and date

Laura Tranquillo - Secretary

Laura is a freshman from Lewisburg, PA. Her major is currently undeclared, but she plans to major in both History and Italian Studies. Outside of class, she enjoys singing acapella with the “Chords” on campus, playing flute in the University Orchestra, singing at Catholic Mass, lifting weights, and going on runs with the Running Club. Laura is excited to serve as the secretary for the College Republicans, and is looking forward being a part of fostering a platform for free speech and friendly dialogue on campus.
